Our review process

Before a download is published, it is run through an automated multi-engine scan. We watch for common malware categories and unwanted bundled installers. Only builds that pass that check are linked from the site, and the result is summarized on the product page.

What the page rating means

The label on each app page reflects the scan at upload time. A clear result means no engine flagged the file during that review. No scan is a lifetime guarantee — so we re-check files and pull anything that later shows a problem.

Staying safe when you install

Keep Windows and your security tools up to date.
Run an installer only if you started the download yourself.
Read each setup screen and skip optional offers you did not ask for.
